Each determination is made against a specific dataset, at a fixed point in time, for a defined use.
Every determination is bound to:
a named dataset
a fixed extract date
a defined use
We examine whether the dataset holds under the stated use.
This includes:
structural integrity
completeness
field alignment
behaviour under use
The output is explicit:
Suitable
Not suitable
Suitable only if conditions are met
Where conditions apply, they are stated and must hold for the determination to remain valid.
Determinations are not permanent.
They are invalidated when the underlying inputs change.
This includes:
new or modified data
schema changes
field remapping
changes to extraction logic
If inputs change, the determination no longer applies.
Each determination applies only to the dataset, date, and use defined at the point of issue.
